Slammers Shut Out By Boomers In Series Opener
JOLIET, IL - The Slammers looked to secure a win tonight for the Re-reopening of DuPage Medical Group Field, but were stymied by Boomers starter Kyle Arjona. Lefty Tyler Jandron took to the mound to open up the three game series against Schaumburg.

In the top of the seventh inning, Jandron was relieved by right hander Chris Roycroft. Jandron would face a total of 28 batters and toss 6 strikeouts while on the mound.
