JOLIET, IL -  With the series deciding game falling on this afternoon's game, Joliet sent Chris Roycroft to the mound. The Slammers hoped to keep their bats alive after Saturday night's home run derby win. Windy City came to play today, scoring 15 runs to the Slammers’ 3. The 15-3 loss sees the ThunderBolts take the series two games to one.

Payton Isaacson would score during Rob Weissheier’s at bat, as Mercer got into a rundown allowing Isaacson to cross home plate.

A Joliet call to the bullpen in the top of the inning would see Conner Anderson take to the hill relieving Jandron.
