9.15 Slammers Fall to Washington, Evening the Series

Joliet, IL — The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy lost game 4 of the Frontier League Championship Series against the Washington Wild Things by a final score of 1-2 on Saturday night to tie up the series best of 5, 2 games to 2. The Slammers scored all 1 in the second inning with an RBI double from Brian Parreira. Kimber threw 6 scoreless innings, giving up two unearned runs and is the Merchant and Manufactures player of the game.

The Slammers will dual the Wild Things in game 5 on Monday at 6:05 CST, in Washington, PA.
