Joliet, IL — Hunter joins us as switch-hitting catcher from Benedictine University at Mesa. During his time with the Redhawks, Hunter started in 53 games and posted a .978 fielding percentage at catcher. He batted .374 with a .490 slugging percentage and was named 2019 California Pacific Conference Gold Glove Catcher. He received an honorable mention All-American NAIA. We are excited to welcome Hunter to the Slammers!

 About the Joliet Slammers: The Joliet Slammers play at DuPage Medical Group Field in downtown Joliet, Illinois, and are members of the professional, independent Frontier League.  The Frontier League is entering its 28th season of play in 2020. It is the largest independent professional league with 14 teams spanning from the Mississippi River to the East Coast.
